Excelitas VTE Series Light Emitting Diodes
PART/ VTE1295H

VTE1295H - IRED, T-1 ¾ (5mm) Plastic Package with Custom Lens, 20mW, Beam angle of ±8°

The VTE1295H is a 895nm GaAlAs Infrared Emitting Diode mounted in a T 1¾ (5mm diameter) lensed plastic package with a narrow beam angle of ±8°. This IRED has a narrow emission beam profile, a characteristic making it suitable for smoke detection, IR illumination and optical switching applications.

This 895nm GaAlAs Infrared Emitting Diode can be operated in DC mode or in pulsed mode. Pulsed mode is used when a higher optical output power is required for certain applications.
